Anastrozole is a substance used in medicine for treatment of breast cancer after surgery, as well as for metastasis in both pre- and post-menopausal women. Bodybuilders and athletes use Anastrozole as an aromatase inhibitor as part of a steroid cycle to reduce and prevent symptoms of excess estrogens like gynecomastia and water retention.

Main side effects: difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue, unusual hoarseness, frequent or painful urination, mental or mood changes, numbness of an arm or leg, severe or persistent bone pain, severe or persistent dizziness or headache, tiredness or weakness and stomach pain.
